Meet Founder, Raymond Cottiers
A former Chief of Staff to a New Jersey State Assemblyman, Ray later returned to education, where he was named the 2025 New Milford District Teacher of the Year and the 2025 Bergen County Wrestling Coach of the Year after leading his team to their first ever State Sectional Championship. He was also honored with a scholarship in his name for his impact on students and the community.
As the creator of Varsity Prep USA, a summer camp serving over 600 families over the past 8 years, Ray has built programs that combine leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. Through LaunchPoint, he helps high school students discover their strengths, gain real-world experiences, and prepare with confidence for college and careers.
